blusher veil...what are you doing???

I've noticed that about half the weddings I've gone to (not that I go to one every weekend), half the brides wear a blusher over their face while walking down the aisle, and the other half don't.

blusher veil...what are you doing???

The feedback I received on this and my own personal opinion is that Anyone can wear the veil over her face. I personally am not, as I feel that I am older 33 and want to see my guests. I personally feel it's great for younger ladies. I've been living with my fiance for 2 years now and I am just not going to wear it that way. I personally think it's nicer, you are more in view and your face should show.

Hope this helps!

blusher veil...what are you doing???

Hi,

Kate I got you beet! Im older then you by a few yrs :)~

I have looked at myself with my blusher down. My problem is this...I got the veil with three layers (rember I wrote because he said it was "Puffy"?) The blusher part is up to my chest with two other longer layers.

blusher veil...what are you doing???

Hi there. I dont think I am going to wear a blusher. I am trying to do things a little non traditional. I could just see my Marine Corp dad tearing the blusher along with my headpiece off my head. Nope I'll pass. I'd be afraid of messing it up too with mascara, lipstick etc if I cry. Just my thought.

Yeah Carmella, I GOT IT!

I'm sorry to dissapoint you, but I am not the "Gina1298" who frequents this board. Gina's comment about Flowers by Brian was hers' not mine. I would appreciate it if you could direct any comments that pertain to my posts, to me. And even though I cannot speak for her, I'm sure Gina wouldn't like to have my comments mixed up with hers. Although I must say she has definitely given out some unique ideas and great advice.

blusher veil...what are you doing???

I agree Concetta! I just feel that it's kind of on the way out! I personally feel uncomfortable with tooling over my face. I have both my mom and dad walking me up the aisle so it would just be something else to worry about. I'm more interested in my ceremony

: )

Thanks for the follow up but I think I'm going to stick w/the folks @ Christies : )

blusher veil...what are you doing???

I am a 40 year old bride. I will not be wearing a blusher..my stepfather is giving me away..and I agree that the age thing definately denotes whether or not to wear a blusher. (unless you like a more traditional wedding)..

THANKS FOR YOUR REPLY

blusher veil...what are you doing???

I am 33yrs old and I will be wearing a blusher. To me when my husband lifts my veil , he will be revealing me and my new name and status (his wife.) I think it is an individual choice.

thanks!

$1800 sound like a LOT to spend on something that lasts for one day...but that is just my 2 cents! Hope this helps!
