Bridal Party Kids HELP

Ok here is the situation We wanted to have my oldest niece and cousins son as ring bearer/flower girl-- then we added oldest of each family so we came to 2 girls and 1 boy then the two next youngest would know that their older brother/sister were in aunt laura's wedding and they were not(they will be 6) so we were up to 3 girls and 2 boys then Jeremy got involved and wanted to include his cousins 2 girls so now we are at 5 girls and 2 boys--I love kids so I am ok with all of this (I know I am crazy- but these kids are my life) the problem-- I have 2 more nieces who we decided were too young to be included and were not inviting( my godaughter who will be 2 1/2 and niece who will be 4 1/2) But my SIL's want the 2 youngest invited--- I need so help-- either way they will do as I ask--part of the issue is we didnt want anyone under 5 years old--and the other isssue is the cost for children is astronomical--- Any help/suggestions would be great Laura

Thanks!

Jamelle

Bridal Party Kids HELP

Check with you caterer, at my hall children under 5 are free, if not I would not include them your SIL should understand that paying for a 2 year old is ridiculous

Bridal Party Kids HELP

I agree with Jamelle Ask your caterer. I dont pay for children under 5 and children ages 5-12 are 1/2 price. I understand where you are coming from. My fiance has alot of nieces and nephews that he wanted as flowergirls/ringbearers. I have one ringbearer, 3 flowergirls and 2 attendants (they are 8 and 11). Good Luck.

My father is dating someone and she will be coming to the wedding. I was thinking of putting a flower on the chair next to my Dad, but his girlfriend will be sitting next to him on the other side. Is this tacky? What else could I do? I'm not having programs, there is no special song she liked and there are no readings at the ceremony.

There are so many etiquette rules, I hate it. I'm just doing what I want, even though I hear it from my family members. Since my fiance and I are paying for the entire thing, they have no say. That's my opinion.
