1. I'm addicted to Lottery tickets and candy

3. I played football for 5 years (two hand touch)

4. I play beach volleyball and softball

6. I love to go pumpkin picking and to fall festivals

7. My nickname when I was a kid was Pickle because I cried all the time so my face was all scrunched up (I was allergic to milk)

8. My first car was a pinto station wagon that was rust colored and only had the drivers seat

9. I was on the Jane Pratt show when I was 19 for being a tease AHAHAHAHHAHAHA

10. I love cooking shows..any kind of cooking shows, even when i was a kid..but I hate so much food..lol..no onions etc..

11. I wrote children's books when I was younger..everyone thought I was going to be a writer..I actually won a children's book contest when I was 9 for my 'Mr. Mum the super hero' hehehe

thanks to everyone who is posting - it's so interesting to read everything and I find that what I thought were my little peculiarities are pretty common - which is so refreshing!

1. I had my tonsils removed at 29 - best thing I did. . . haven't had a single sore throat since (I'm 31) Highly recommend it to anyone who gets chronic sore throats/snores/bad allergies/sleep apnea.
2. I am insanely afraid of frogs.
3. I've hated my middle name all of my life and yesterday I put it on my wedding invitation (apologies to anyone with the name jean - it's fine on its own - but Deirdre Jean is just bad, imo. . . dont know why I put it on the invitation, I really dont.
4. one of my life's goals is to read and see all of Shakespeare's plays - have read all of them and need to see about 10 more.
5. if I could register at staples or office depot, I would.
6. If i could change one thing about FH I would make him more enthusiastic about travel - I love it and have a hard time imagining how someone would rather not go all over the world.
7. I have a crush on John McEnroe. . . I've always had a crush on him - even when he had the 'fro and the headband and short shorts back in the day.
8. I read 4 newspapers a day for pleasure - the truth is more interesting than fiction - and oftentimes is less believable.
9. I teach college and love it!
10. my 2005 resolution is to run a half marathon.

1. I was quite the troublemaker growing up
2. In addition to my fear of flying, I have a disturbing irrational fear of vomit
3. I have a craving for Mexican food at least 3 times a week

1. I was born in London (my parents were teaching there) and I have dual citizenship

2. I never thought I wanted to get married and FH totally changed my mind in an amazingly short amount of time

3. I love to travel and even spent a summer in college in Italy as an au pair

4. I am a die-hard political fanatic. Rarely watch TV and if I do, it is C-SPAN or news related 90% of the time.

5. My sister gets US weekly and I devour it every week. Love that cheesy celeb gossip

6. FH and I have thrown ourselves into wedding planning, something I never thought I wanted to do and I am loving every second. Fam and friends are shocked by how much I love it and everyone is impressed with how involved FH is.

7. Love the Yankees and was hardbroken this playoff season

8. I love make up yet do not wear that much

9. I hate my curly hair and would love to have straight hair

OH my gosh..me too..actually its the whole SV (stomach virus) thing...People think i'm sooooooo crazy but i'm so scared I will get one I freak myself out..If I dont feel good its automatically a SV..lol..I can hardly say the word

Sorry I'm posting so late...but here it goes:

1) I was the baby for ten years until my parents (divorced) had daughters within 2 years of each other...so now I am a middle child of 7! (Mom and Dad had 3 of us, Mom had 1, Dad had 3 more)

2) I hated HS with such a passion that even though I barely attended I managed to graduate 1/2 year early and didn't go to prom, senior trip or anything class-related and I have NO regrets!

3) I tend to write A LOT...too much if you ask anyone. I can go on and on...I talk fast and get off topic, smetimes losing my point...I can ramble on and on forever!

4) I did not want to get married or have a big wedding. My idea of 'perfect' was my closest and dearest (and fi) saying our vows overlooking the ocean or in a garden atop a mountain. The big wedding thing has always been fiance's dream, so I'm doing this for him. And it's more fun that I thought!

5) I was highly impatient and moody until I met my fi, he was the calmest and sweetest guy on earth and his patience and love even when I was being a bi*t@h totally changed me.

6) I love people's birthdays and think EVERYONE shuld make a big deal. Not having cake and candles on your birthday should be a sin.

7) I have a 'different' complexion and can't wear any makeup unless it's neutral...I mean, I can but then I'll look like a hooker. If I wear lipstick, blush and eye shadow I look really 'made up'.

8) I have really straight hair and have always wished it was curly.

9) I LOVE my cat...I speak to him like he's my child and call him my 'baby'. I'm sure it's unhealthy, but I don't care...I love you Mr. Blue! My fiance HATES it when I say 'Mr. Blue, go to daddy' or 'come to mommy'...heehee, I'm sick!

10) I don't make friends easily, especially females. I'm one of those people who hates drama and gossip (I would NEVER fight for my man or any man) so I have the same friends for over 10 years...totalling no more than 5 friends! All my friends have a specific role...the loud one, the drunk (me & my friend Mary!), the shy one, etc. We compliment each other well.

1. i used to be a CAT person & disliked dogs

2. i spoke French before English, but now can't speak French

3. i was an only (spoiled) child until i was 10 and my mom remarried. My youngest brother is now 5! (she went in labor on my brithday)

4. i can not wear underwear of any kind unless i HAVE to.

5. i used to think i was a lesbian until i fell in love with Kevin!

6. i was ALWAYS a goody-good, then all of a sudden i became heavy into cocain out of nowhere! i'm bac kto being a good girl now, but i DO drink alcohol. (oooh)

7. when i was little i never played house, i played 'tattoo parlor'.... i dont know why

8. i dont eat any sort of vegatable at all. never will.

9. i have 3 sisters i never met.

1. I love to sing at Karoke nights
2. My favorite passion is travel- I have even been to Thailand by myself since no one wanted to go with me.
3. I lived in with my parents until I was 26, moved out only a few minutes away until 29 and then surprised everyone by aburptly moving to California after thinking about it for five minutes.
4. Until I met my FH, I swore I would NEVER get married.
5. Before I became a counselor, I really wanted to be a journalist and be an anchor on the 5 o'clock news.
6. My true hair color is mousy brown.
7. I once dated a guy who had the same first and last name as my brother and they shared the same birthday(3 years apart).
8. I was engaged before(9 nine years ago!) to a man I really couldn't stand. I would break up with him and he would guilt me into getting back together. He almost guilted me into marrying him!
9. I want to write a book on raising the middle school child based on a talk I give the parents at the beginning of the year.
10. I am convinced I will be famous someday-not sure how though!
