We will have been dating just shy of 10 years (9 years and 10 months).

In fact our wedding date is 10 yrs and 1 week to the day we first met.

3 years, 1 month... with a 5 month break-up/just friends in the middle.

(It ended up being for the best... second time around is MUCH better!)

Our first date was December 11, 2004. By New Year's of that year (just a few weeks) he had told me he wanted to marry me and was going to begin saving for a ring...(we're crazy, I know!!)

On June 23, 2005 he proposed formally.
We wanted to get married in 2006 but my sister got engaged before us and we felt it would be easier on everyone if we waited until 2007 so she and I could both have our own time. (easier on the fam too!! plus, we could save up more $$)

So by our wedding on September 9, 2007 we will be dating just under three years.
