CALLING ALL MAGGIE SOTTERO GRACE BRIDES!!

What type of slip/crinoline are you going to/did you wear??? The dress isnt 'poufy' so I am not sure what type of slip/crinoline to get for it.

Yes, me too. I want it a bit poufier as well. I think it definitely needs a little something underneath it. Maybe the smallest crinoline they have. I originally tried it on at another bridal salon, not Burton's, back in august and I can't remember if I tried it on with anything underneath. the sample was a bit small for me so I think it may have been the only dress I didn't use crinoline for.

OK, now what kinda animal is that?

Do you realize, we have the same dress and I live near your reception hall? HEY, are you copying me???

Look at that.. AND we are both using Duet LOL
I tried Grace on and it was 4 sizes too small... omg it looked like a mermaid dress on me. Then one of the women at the place turned to the other one and said 'Isnt that the dress that Blab Blah had..:' Turns out there was a bride that ordered it, in my size, but called off her wedding. SOOOO I was able to try it on in my size

I just got the call yesterday that my dress in in already.... I was also thinking about what I wanted to put underneath it to give it some poof...hmmm the lady at the salon said that I could put on a small slip and it would work perfect...the slip they had in the salon was old and 'flat' so it really didn't do much...they assurred me a brand new one would be perfect

I was really shock that it came in already...my mom told me last night...

How much do you love this dress??? I keep looking at thepicture and I LOVE it I'm so bummed out that I have to wait until NEXT year to wear it...towards the end of the year no less

i used to work in a bridal salon and i think a one tier crinoline would be perfect. they will definitly have one at the bridal salon.

I ordered mine on August 28th so unfortunately you have a while to wait. I know, it stinks. Mine just came in a little over two weeks ago. It is even better once you put it on. I used to see other dresses on this site and say, ugh, I think I wish I had splurged and gotten that one. NO WAY!!! I tried on 74, yes 74, dresses before I found Grace. When it came in and I tried it on it was perfect. I looooooove my dress!

I told all my friends and families, I looooove this dress and I don't care if you call me psycho, I'm wearing it for next Thanksgiving and Christmas (if I'm not PG)!!! I looooove it... after our weddings you can come to East Northport and we can go grocery shopping in our dresses.

I'm a grace bride as well and was wondering about the poufy thing. I have no idea what I am going to do about it.

I have another question for you grace brides though, what type of veil did you get. I kinda wanted to stick with the lace theme but I haven't found any that matched the dress, so i'm probably just going to have a finger tip plain veil. Oh one more thing do you think you will actually wear the shawl??

I actually wanted my veil to be plain since the dress has alot 'going on' so to speak so I opted for a 2 tiered fingertip veil with a detachable cathedral length

FYI...Also, someone on the knot mentioned that Caparro shoes in Champagne match the diamond white over light gold perfectly!!
