another grace bride here! My dress is also in and am going for my first fitting on 3/18! I was nervous I wasnt going to like it anymore but now I am not longer worried from seeing all of these pictures! I am not sure if I am going to wear a slip. I am also going to opt for a simple veil.....

What a beautiful dress we have

I tried that dress on and the seamstress said I wouldn't need a slip with that dress because it fills itself out beautiful dress good choice!

did you try the dress with crinoline underneath it makes a difference

Oh this post came at the perfect time. I am a 'Grace' bride too and was thinking about my dress recently. It is supposed to come in this month. I can not wait. We all have such excellent taste. It was the second dress I tried on and knew I loved it from the get go. I looked around some more, but kept comparing everything to 'Grace.' It is beautiful. Thank you for posting the pictures.

Love my Grace!!!

I am not wearing any kind of slip under it. One of the things I loved about this dress was that it wasn't poofy. The slim a-line looks best on my figure. I had my shawl turned into a jacket which I originally was going to wear only during the ceremony, but now plan to wear the entire night. I love the way it changed the neckline and think the lace is gorgeous.

Only 27 days until my wedding... so there will be more Grace pics for all of you soon enough!!

Hi Ladies,

Ages ago I promised to post pics of me wearing my Grace at my wedding. Well, we finally scanned some proofs in, so here you go.

Our scanner is 10 years old and is horrible, so almost all the pics are dark or the color quality is off. The proofs are 1000x better in real life, but at least you can get an idea.

I loved wearing this dress and got so many compliments. As you will see, I altered it a bit and turned the wrap into sleeves. It is a gorgeous dress and you will all LOVE wearing it.

The one annoying thing (which of course I never knew until I saw pictures of the back of my dress) was that my bustle was pretty much screwed up the whole night. I had a simple 1 point bustle, but it wasn't tied right or something and looks weird. But, oh well! Didn't bother me that night.

OMG i love this dress so much- i didnt see it when i was looking but im seriously concidering going to find one and getting it instead of my dress. That is my dream dress- i dont even like the one i have..i think im going on a mission. where can i find it and how much does it cost??

Thanks for posting.

I had my first fitting already and have a different bustle. I'll take pics at my second June 15th and post.

I am wearing a two tiered crinoline. Honestly, I tried on the dress and ordered it without it but just for kicks tried it with a crinoline when my dress came in... IMO it looked much better with the crinoline.

My advice is try it with both and see how you like it.

I didn't wear any crinoline or slip underneath, but I was the same as you and wanted a very slim skirt. I think it depends on the look you are going for and your body type.
