Chateau Briand Food Tasting

Hi brides,

Visited Chateau Briand yesterday and really liked the venue - indoor was modern and had a lot of spaces for photos and outdoor grounds were beautiful as well.  Other than decor, food is the number one priority for me.

What are your thoughts on their food? I see very mixed reviews online.

I had my wedding there May 2017.

My husband and I thought the food was excellent, and our guests for the food tasting did as well, and after the wedding, our guests raved about the food too.

Cocktail hour has a TON of food and you get to choose what you would like.  Seriously, it's like you've died and gone to unlimited food heaven with a ton of variety.  If there's a con, it was because I didn't get to eat 97% of it.

For dinner, there was one complaint from one of my guests and that was that he felt there wasn't enough food for dinner.  To be fair, that was his fault because he chose not to eat a lot during cocktail hour.  CB has to be one of the best venues food-wise:  not only because of the quality, but because of the selection:  guests get to choose from 10 entrees - unheard of at a lot of the major Long Island venues.

Lastly, not sure if they told you this, but as the bride and groom, you get all ten entrees served to you at dinner.  They will also put it in containers for you to take back to your complimentary hotel room next door.
