Cheap Candle Holders

Hi !!! I was wondering if anyone knows of somewhere I can find taper candle holders in a gold finish (or wood ones I can paint gold). My hall includes simple centerpieces that are very pretty. My fiance saw a centerpiece that was an elaborate candleabra with flowers at $100 each. We are having about 20 tables. That seems a little too much for me. Also the hall has printed wall paper so I dont think it calls for a big elaborate centerpiece. My thinking was if I could find and buy in bulk gold finish (or wood) taper candle holders (2 or 3 on each table) it would be a hell of alot cheaper and the guests can take them home. I have searched candle companies on the internet but they dont seem to carry a selection of taper candle holders. Does anyone know fo a place on Long Island???? Thanks!!

By the way it's nice to hear that you did care, if you were going to spend at least $1000 on something you did'nt care about that would be pretty foolish.

Target has a good, cheap selection.

I believe there is a Crowne Plaza over there as well.

What are we doing? We're staying in our apartment (we only moved in together a short while ago). I can't think of a more romantic way to start our life together than in our own home.

Unfortunately, not cheap enough when we are talking about 60-80. Do you live near Patchogue Floral? Do you have any Ben Franklin or A.C. Moore's or dollar stores(they have great candle holders) near you? Anywhere, they have unfinished wood crafts would probably have them. If you find something really cheap and glass they can also be painted with an enamel or special spray paint for glossy surfaces(Home Depot).

I buy from a company named Wang's and I know they definetly have them for about $1 each. Unfortunately, they are a wholesale only company and they recquire a minimum order of $150.00.

Good Luck!
