Definitely! I want to have time to talk to everyone and eat some of the yummy food! Plus I want to get the most out of every minute (I'm paying enough for those minutes as it is!)

We are definitely attending our cocktail hour! The more time we spend with our guest who are coming from near and far to be with us, the better. We are leaving plenty of time between the church and CH for pics so we can all be there!

We are not seeing eachother before the ceremony though. To me, the best part of the ceremony (from a guests point of view) is to see the look in the grooms eyes when he first sees his bride!

we'll take some pictures then head over to the CH and mingle and then get announced...but with the way time flies i wouldn't be surprised if we missed it...oh well if we do...!

I am torn about whether to go..traditionally you shouldn't but than there is all the food at the cocktail hour.. FH definitely wants to go.

We went to our cocktail hour - well worth it to have put in extra time for our photos so that we could spend time with our guests during cocktail hour.

We went to part of ours. We greeted everyone and did some mingling. However, we didn't get anywhere close to food or drinks with everyone surrounding us. the bridal attendant led us back to the suite with about 15 minutes left and had some food for us. What a life saver!

I'm planning to attend and then leave.

You know what? We really need to opinions from the brides that attended the CH and those that didn't. It seems as if the brides that did go, didn't even have a chance to eat.

We wouldn't miss it....we left time between the ceremony and the CH so that we'll have time to take pics. We'll prob spend most of the CH time in the bridal suite, enjoying our food and a few drinks

Then we'll be introduced....

We did. The cocktail hour is my favorite part at a wedding usually. I wanted to mingle with the guests so I would have lesss people to say a quick hello to later on.

We wll prolly be taking pictures....with the party and everything....
but as soon as we are done..we are def. gonna check out all that great food :) We picked it out...i wouldnt miss it!
PLUS- everyone knows we are husband and wife.....and the DJ will still annouce us...:) ITS OK!!!

I am going to try not to miss mine and I don't want my bridal party to miss it. We will be seeing each other before the ceremony. After the ceremony, FH and I will have a few minutes alone together, which is a Jewish tradition. Then we hope to get to the cocktail hour!!!

We're only taking pics at the reception hal because we want to be able to atleast be at our last half hour of the cocktail party! This is important to us because we have sooo many people we'd rather get bombarded there and enjoy the non-stop dancing later on!

I thought that when you go to the bridal suite, you would have your own food from the CH served for you there...

I really want to taste the CH food, so if they don't have any food in a suite, I would send my FH to get me some. I don't want to face ALL my relatives just yet. I want to relax a little bit before the 4 hour reception.
