Color Scheme for a Summer Wedding

I was married in July and my theme was a summer's garden...so I focused on green and yellow (with just a few white accents) - for the grass and the sun

here are the BM dresses...they were from dessy...the Bms were in kiwi and the jrs and FG's sash were buttercup..

the flowers:

for the centerpieces...I just told them to use colorful summer flowers...(from a table camera...so not too clear)

the favor and program...(another bad pic) - the pillar candle was yellow and the ribbon was green

better pic of programs:

in case it rained...but used for photo op anyway....

the placecards...had a dried flower on it...unfortunately the ribbon didn't match too well...but it was in another room so no big deal...

the guestbook

our flutes were green (a bad pic)

OMG I love your color scheme! Mine is very similar. My BM dresses are the same color. I love how it looks..... VERY NICE! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks yabbobay - beautiful pics! And, thank you 070502... I liked that color too. I am going to have a tough time making a decision but I guess it will come down to what color looks nice on the girls.. Thanks again

My girls wore butter too! That looks similar to an Alfred Angelo dress I was looking at in butter. Could be the same one! I chose an Alfred Angelo in butter that had sleeves. My girls were growling at me for thinking of sleeveless! LOL! We are all plus size......The pictues are all georgeous!

We used all different shades of blue, because it would look nice against the water. It was really pretty. We used white roses with a few peach for the flowers. The blue and the peach looked really great together.

I am doing june 26 of next summer and going with a sage green with pink flowers - it's such a personal choice though! think of how you always pictured your wedding and what colors do you see???? I think you can do anything in summer, just maybe not black - not that you would....

I'm also getting married next July and my colors are buttercup and sage, and the girls flowers will be a combination of bright pink, soft yellows and greens.
