I have been to the Crows Nest and had a great time at the hotel. I enjoyed the setting but it wasnt 'right' for my wedding personally.

Dont just 'forget about it'. If you like it take a ride out there and check it out. They offer a nice package- the event I went to was a wedding shower (kinda different) combining bridal shower and engagement party and bachelor party.

They did a nice set up and the food was great.

As for Montauk as a whole- I LOVE IT
Getting Married at Gurney's (amazing package they offer) I cant say enough about Montauk, Gurney's and everything about the town and general area.

HOLLY... have you checked into the lighthouse? I know they do have weddings there (outside under a tent and it's quite pretty).

I did get married. I am looking into some places for my brother and FSIL. In re-reading my post, I guess I was not very clear.
