Danford's in Pt Jefferson

Hi, Anyone have any reviews of weddings at Danford's in Port Jefferson. They have recently undergone new renovations and management. Any thoughts? Thanks!

By the way - I noticed you chose Full House for your band - I was also interested in them. If possible could you please forward me any info. you may have or any recommendations for other bands. Thanks!!!

Avoid the hassle and stay away. Anyone know a good favor store?

We had our company holiday party there this past December and the food was GREAT!

This might sound outrageous but check Payless Shoes. A friend of mine got her bridal shoes there (they were plain but very cushiony) as well as her bridal party and they took them elsewhere to have them dyed.

I am all for wearing Keds. But no one else agrees with me. Good Luck.

Danford's in Pt Jefferson

We just booked our wedding at Danford's. I know the food there is great and I loved the view and the cozy feel of it. I thought the prices were reasonable and you also get a suite to stay in for your wedding night.

Almaz Brothers: 35-13 30th Avenue. Phone is 718-545-6073. They're open every day but Saturday. Its owned by 2 brothers - Ralph and Yury (Ralph is the guy you'll be dealing with - Yuri is the ring maker guy in the back). Ralph is a sweetie : ) They've been in business since '84.

Havent eaten there in years, so I cant comment on the food, but it can be convinient if you have out of town guests....you have the Inn right there. I am getting married at Miller Place Inn and almost blocked rooms there for guests. Prices were about $120-130 for the night (pretty much the same as Holiday Inn Express, but some atmosphere/location)

What do the prices run for receptions at Danfords?

The prices for a Saturday night including tip and tax are $105 per person. They can only hold up to 140 people.

They range from $68 to about $85 pp, which includes Valet parking, 5 hr open bar, cocktail hr, reception, wedding cake and over night accomodations for bride & groom.

Have you booked yet? I highly reccomend Miller Place Inn. Ive never been to wedding there myself, but the food is great, staff is great, and you get alot & quality for your $$. I also love how you have the whole place to yourselves. They have been very helpful & accomodating during planning.
