Davids Bridal, and picking up Gown

Hi!

Well first off I wanted to let you girls know I managed to survive today when I picked up my dress at Davids. After all the bad things I have heard about the alterations department I had a huge knot in my stomack. I did bring all my stuff and the veil (the too puffy one) and asked if it would be ok, they wanted me to wait till the head semstress was there, so I did, didnt take long. I put it all on and I was so relieved!!!!!! They fitted it just fine. I just wanted to let you know how it went :) Judy

When I first booked the room, I expressed my concerns to Tiffany. My FMIL will be using that bathroom all night (the reason why we booked it is b/c she is on oxygen and she needs everything on one level b/c she can't climb stairs). Told her it needed to be cleaned & prepped...she said she'd put a flower arrangement in the room.

Davids Bridal, and picking up Gown

I'm glad to hear all went well....Judy, when is your wedding day?

So I took a chance trying Dante out. The manager was excellent. He took alot of time, was friendly, professional, and really hooked us up with a great deal. He is renting us a tux for the groom (its just him and I eloping) and its tails with a vest and shoes and we will be taking it with us on vacation and returning it 12 days later all for 125$. Very cool

Think about this place if your looking for a good tux shop, the selection was really good

When to pick up the gown?

Wow - and you picked it up already? I thought the goal was to push it as close to the wedding date as possible so that its freshly pressed, etc., etc....

Where will you store it until the big day? forigve the questions....but my date is fast approaching (3/25)...I was planning on getting it very close to the day (week before) but now I'm not sure....help?

When to pick up the gown?

Hi Karen,

Actually when I called Davids Bridals alterations department I only told her that the wedding was the weekend before it actually was. She told me I needed to come down to be fitted asap.

I never expected it to be ready so soon! Even though the dress was a little big it didnt need too much alterations (it still cost me 75$)
