My sister kept her veil on while she was walking down the aisle, and we could NOT see her face. So, I'm not wearing one over my face. But whomever posted about Jewish traditions, I was just going to write the same thing, so thank you for posting it!

I am having my dad take it off of my face when I get to the alter. I am only having the blusher for when I walk down the isle....BUT, my photographer showed me pics of girls with their blushers on and the pics were amazing!! I think that it will be fine, but I have heard that veils with shiny finishes dont photograph very well so be careful

I am definitely keeping the blusher over my face during the ceremony until my father lifts it to give me away.

I thought it was the Groom who lifted the veil when the Minister says to Kiss The Bride. I like that you guys are pretty much all saying that the Father does (or whoever's giving you away). I'm wearing a blusher, but I DEFINITELY don't want it over my face for the entire ceremony. I paid all that money to get my hair and makeup done, i wanna show it off! And in the pictures of the ceremony I don't want it to look as tho FH is marrying a ghost. They need to see my pretty face, excuse you!!

Yeah, i totally agree, i think the veil should be lifted by whoever's giving you away! :)We're spending so much money on hair & makeup, u want everyone to see you!! and take good pics of you!!!

WOW Good question I thought you keep it on until the you may kiss and then I thought your Dad or person whom walks you down lifts it to give you away darn it now IM torn what to do.....
