We made a donation to the local Animal Shelter where we adopted our dog. We found Runt like candy online in the shape of dog bones. We put the candy in a small black organza bag I got on EBay.

We're doing Martini Glasses filled with personilized M&Ms. The bows on the glass will be personalized too.

Since we'll be officially living in Seattle when we get married we're going to give chocolate covered espresso beans. We wanted to bring a little bit of Seattle to NY.

we did a donation to the lance armstrong cancer fund... since my dad is a cancer survivor, and a few people in both our families have had cancer....
we gave each guest a yellow ' LiveStrong' bracelet and a thing of mints with a tag explaining the donation... a lot of our guests are still wearing the bracelets 7 months later... and we got soo many compliments on how nice and different it was

we did 4 coaster frames in a wood holder. With messages on each coaster. I have some left, fm me if you're interested.

We're doing Christmas ornaments. We're getting the married the day after Thanksgiving (the start of the Christmas season) and thought it was a great idea. We actually toyed around with the idea of setting up a Christmas tree in the reception room and at the end of the night everyone would go and take one off the tree.

I was thinking of hanging the ornaments we're giving on a Christmas tree, too... but knowing my uncles, they'll take them all. lol. I have to make sure I set it up so it's obviously one to a couple. What kind of ornaments are you doing? I'm making my sample ornaments tomorrow... I can't wait to see how they come out! I'll post pics when I make them.

We're giving a donation to a cancer charity. FH grandfather passed away from cancer. My aunt passed away last year and my uncle just passed away on Friday from it. Along with the donation, we're giving tins of M & M's in light blue & cream.

We are doing a donation to the Autism Society. I teach children with autism and it is something very important to me. I am going to print out a card with the explanation of the autism ribbon and make autism awareness ribbons to attach to the cards.
