Do you feed each other wedding cake with your hands or with a fork??

Me and FH are both germ-o-phobes....we were just getting grossed out about shaking everyones hands all day and then feeding each other cake....what did you or are you doing?? (Random question, I know)

ETA--we are definately NOT smashing the cake either way.

I have serious issues with that kind of stuff also... I'm going with the fork and some Purell Hand Santizer

me and my FH plan on using a fork with no smashing in the face. we dont want a mess we want a nice moment

Oh God--we are definately NOT smashing the cake....as long as I know that fork is normal, that is what I am going to do.

We started with a fork, then it escalated quickly to hands, plates, etc. It was hilarious. It was the end of the night and the last thing the photog was staying for, we didn't care.

i really hadn't thought about this one... i think i'm leaning towards using a fork now that i think about all the hand-shaking and hugging we'll be doing.

that's a great look!!
i went to a wedding last fri night and the groom SMASHED the cake in the bride's face. it was in her hair, eyebrow, eyelashes. FH and i talked about that - i would kill him right there and then. he will be using a fork to feed me... i'm making him go 1st i might kick it up a notch, but just to dab a lil icing on his nose. no harm - he's not spending 100 bux on makeup that day!
