depends on how long they take to come in. i ordered ours the first week of FEB and they won't be in until April some time I believe

I'm worried because what if I order the dress for her and then she can't get a visa to come to the US. And I have no idea yet who I would have instead of her as my third BM, so I don't know if they'll be similar sizes or not. I know I still have time, but I worry.

My MOH, two BM's and one FG were from out of state, what we did was one of the BM got her measurements where she lives at Nordstrom and then she emailed me the measurements and came up for her fittings, my MOH lived in Arizona and my other BM went to school and was not able to come down for any fittings until (gasp) two days before the wedding. We okayed this with the Bridal Reflections before we did this, and finally my FG got the dress that I picked out by her in NJ because FG's generally wait a little closer to the wedding to order their dress because they are growing.

I had the same problem -- give them the style number and design. You can probably find local availability for them online. Let them go try the dress and get measured. Then get their measurements and place the order with whatever shop your other BM are ordering from. This should ensure everything comes from the same dye lot, and you'll get everything at once (which puts my mind at ease.)

I have a BM in Florida, I gave her a list of places that carry Bill Lev. dresses and the styles I like, so she'll be getting her dress where she lives...It's the only way....

I am the MOH in my cousin's wedding in Ohio. She picked out a dress from David's Bridal. I went to the local one here to get sized and I called to order it from the store near her so that all dresses would be ordered together. They will ship me the dress when it comes in.

I am also doing the same thing you are...my cousin lives in Ohio and she is in my bridal party. I already decided on a BM dress - so when we are ready to order - she can go to a local place by her to get professionally measured and sized and just let me know all the information. Taking the advice from the girls...I have decided to use NetBride.come since I was quoted $85 less per BM dress from them compared to Macys Bridal. So the salon I plan on using can meet it - we are ordering online.
