Re: First Night as Mr. & Mrs.

We stayed in a bridal suite in the Harrison House in Glen Cove.

We were just at a wedding this past weekend and saw the rooms at the Inn at Fox Hollow. They are also very nice.

Re: First Night as Mr. & Mrs.

We'd spent it in our apartment, it was a lot of fun. We'd had planned a Post-Wedding Party the next day immediately after our wedding thus we needed to go home to get put all our stuff away. Such stuff we had was my bridal gown, slip, shoes, bra, headpiece, veil, unity candles, unity candle tapers and stand, programs, baskets, guest book, some gifts, anniversary cake, our wedding dinner in a doggie bag, etc. Plus, we also wanted to save money on getting a hotel since we'd spent a lot already.

However, every bride and groom is different--different preferences, different budget, etc... Spending it in our apartment was special to us since it was OUR home and just the two of us.

We're staying at the Wyndham since it's right next door to the hall. Never been there before.
