Re: Flat Iron
do you all use a deep conditioner on your hair regularly? i'm just afraid of using a hot iron, that it will totally fry my hair, i would only plan on doing it once a week anyways.eta: what model chi and hot tools does everyone use?

Re: Flat Iron
I have a CHI iron. I think you can get it for 100 at ulta or ebay. I have very thick, wavy-curly hair and it can make it straight.I use that BioSilk stuff or some similar stuff made by CHI that smells like a nice man's cologne before I use the iron.

Stupid question, but is it fairly easy to do with the iron? Does it take a long time?
It is - it takes a little practice to get it perfectly straight and do it quickly - but overall - it is easy.
The time is takes is dependent on how long your hair is.

Re: Flat Iron
wow, I just ordered the maxi-glide..kind of disappointed that it may not be be all that..I have really fine hair and flat irons mostly just make the hair look like it's sticking to my head.

yes you can use the coupon and no it doesn't have the brush effect. It is a ceramic iron, it is gold plated and the girls in the salon swear by it!!!
