This has been my biggest stressor...We invited 202 people, but the room only holds 160. We thought we would get a ton of no's because just about everyone is from out of town (including me and FH...LOL) but so far people we thought would definately not come are comming!! AND some people have decided themselves to bring along a guest even thought we DID NOT invite them with a guest!!! What is with these people. I really hope we get more no's.

If anyone is having trouble meeting their minimum can I send some of my people?? LOL

13 responses yesterday and only one no but TWO extras that weren't invited!

I wish I had that problem!! I'm worried that I'm going to have to pay full price for the staff & children under 12 because we might not have enough to make our minimum, URGH!!!!

I'm in the same boat! Our barn only holds about 125 and we ended up inviting 160. So far-only 2 no's!! I thought we'd get a ton more and so far-everyone is coming.
This is also my biggest cause of stress! You're not alone!!

I am so glad I am not the only one stressing about this. I have the same problem.
Its terrible that everytime I get responses I hope for a no!
I also find it amazing that people who you don't invite with a guest, decide on their own to invite one!!

Leelee and OctBride, do you guys know what you are going to do if you go over your max?? I have no idea what we will do...well they did say that we can have over 160 if we have a buffet. But, I really just don't want to have a buffet ...am I going to have to sneek people into my own reception?

I am having the same problem. People who we didnt think were coming are now coming. We have to guarantee 175 people for the hall but it looks like we may have close to 200 people. I hope I get some No's too!!!

Applesfla- The Max my place holds is 225 but they are saying it is tight with 185. I should be at about 200. So if worse comes to worse people will have to squeeze in.
Look on the bright side if worse comes to worse you can have the Buffet.It might be easier than trying to sneak people in

We can accomodate 125 WITH a dance floor (which is pretty important!). My FH keeps reassuring me we'll be fine. Otherwise-since it's at a farm-he keeps telling me people will be hanging out outside to see the animals and taking hayrides! I'm not sure how much I believe that and I keep hoping for more 'nos'!!

I got 5 NO's yesterday!!! Whoo Hoo! We only need like 30 more people to say no now. I hate that I have to wish for no's . I'm sad that these people won't be joining us, but I am happy for the much needed no responses.
We also got 8 yes's! Whoo Hoo.

I am so jealous of everyone abundance of wedding guests. I want every single person we invited to come and Im sort of hurt when I get a 'no'.
