Everyone reacts differently to anesthesia...as a matter of fact some people cannot use it at all...they get the 'laughing gas' for dental procedures. Its fine to feel a little nauseus afterwards...it'll go away eventually. Remember that you got 4 molars pulled!

I had all 4 taken out at once it wasn't that bad I jsut looked like a chipmunk for a few days they had asked if I wanted local or to be put to sleep I told them to knock me the 'F' out I didn't want to see what they were doing. have lots of yogart and ice cream on hand and things you don't have to chew like pastina and milk shakes so you can have something to eat afterwards

Hey girls just an update...the procedure went fine, I do not remember a thing! I have no swelling, I've been icing since I got home. The only bad part, I had a bad reaction to the anestesia I haven't been feeling very well at all.

Did this happen to anyone else??

what kind of reaction?

You scared me for a minute. I saw your avatar, and thought 'how could she have her wisdom teeth pulled two days before her wedding!!' Then I realized that I am on the 06 board. Ooops!

yay! glad it went well. a friend of mine got really sick from the anesthia as well. she was puking for a couple of days. can't imagine that after getting teeth pulled!

I'm glad the procedure went well. I hope the next few days go just as well. Usually that is the worst time....

My friend said a number of people have a bad reaction to anestheia (she's a nurse). I hope you're okay now.

I just has surgery on one of my teeth yesterday. That's why I'm home today. My whole mouth is swollen and I can't talk. So I know how you feel!

Yes, this happened to me - forgive me if this is too much information but I couldn't keep anything down the first day and felt very queasy all afternoon, but by the evening, I was feeling better. Hope you feel better!
