I'm doing both personally, but its your wedding and you do what you WANT! I can understand why the garder thing might make you uncomfortable. Just ignore the idiots out there.

my friend just did the bo-k and nothing else...

i did notice it at the time and was like... oh, i guess they aren't doing the garter. then i got back to my cocktail.

that said, i was surprised that people were trying to get me up there... i said, i have a ring, a date, and everything... that's not for me. my other engaged friend got up there and i was like all confused. isn't it only for single girls? i was so excted not to have that happen anymore!

for my wedding, i'm not doing either. i get grossed out during the garter thing and i abhorred doing the bo-k toss so i rarely went up there. but my MOH did both and it was really cute. i think each couple is dfferent and you've got to do what's good for the both of you.

I want to toss the bouquet, but I don't think I will do anything afterwards. We'll just get back to dancing I suppose.
