Glenmar Studios

Hello! Does anyone have any feedback, either positive or negative, about Glenmar Photography Studios in Roslyn? I met with them and was impressed with both their work and photo packages. I am considering booking them so ANY feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

Wow, Susan that's a strong opinion to have about a vendor, especially a vendor that did not even do your wedding flowers. Are you in the floral business? I was just asking because I saw you posted several messages regarding other florists and also had negative comments. When it comes to these two vendors, there are mixed reviews. Although I must admit I definetly wanted someone who has experience with wedding floral arrangements (not a kid) and someone who I can trust enough where I can relax and enjoy the night before my wedding with my fiance and families, and not go and check my flowers. I must say that after reading about everyones experiences, that I will be very careful who I hire to do our flowers. And in case we happen to come across problems like you've stated, I will have it in writing. :)

Today we pause to reflect upon those who have shaped our character, molded our spirits and touched our hearts. May the lighting of this candle be a reminder of the memories we have shared, a representation of the everlasting impact you have made upon our lives.

We looked at Glenmar as well and although we liked their work, my fiance and I were very unimpressed with the presentation as well as the mannerisms of Barbara (the woman who helped us). We felt she was very unprofessional and was not open to any questions- she would wink a few times and say "trust me" (when we asked her who our photographer would be). I have heard great things about the studio on this site, but I personally found it to be a turnoff. In fact, truthfully we would have considered them because the price was right and they were the cheapest photographer we looked at- but the thought of dealing with them for the next year (just "trust me") was just not appealing. Good LUck- hope you have a better experience

Hi! I am looking to RENT a bridesmaid's and flowergirl dress (maybe even bridal gown) does anyone know of such a place on Long Island????

I JUST BOOKED THEM FOR MY WEDDING IN JULY. I HAVE HEARD VERY POSITIVE THINGS ABOUT THEM, AND DID NOT HAVE ALOT OF TIME TO LOOK AROUND. I THINK THE PERSON WE DEALT WITH WAS ROBERT AND HE WAS GREAT. VERY PROFESSIONAL AND ACCOMODATING. I LIKED THE QUALITY OF THERE WORK. I BOOKED MY VIDEO THERE ALSO. THE PHOTOGRAPHER I WANTED WAS BOOKED, SO IF YOU DECIDE ASK FOR JOHN - HE IS SUPPOSED TO BE WONDERFUL. I

I realize the overwhelming desire to run to the nearest mountain top (or post office) and let the whole world know you've finally decided upon a date to start your life together. I went through the same thing.....but 'save the date' cards make me think of golf & charity events. The only time I've ever received one has been for golf outings and when people want me to donate money (for work)...so I naturally associate them with large impersonal functions - whereas your wedding is one of the most intimate events a person will ever be invited to attend! If it is not on a holiday weekend and you can spend a sunday calling the handful of out of towners, then I suggest making a phone call.

Again - it DOES serve an important function if your event is on a holiday weekend....every wedding is unique.
