Its a cape in franklin square on the smae block as my parents, and it looks EXACTLY like my house when i was little (cause the owners never updated) many possiblieties.. the people who own it are 98 years old, and when i went to look they remembered me from when i was little and then amd my parents were laughing cause i used to sneak out of the house early in the morning at like 5 years old and ride my big wheels naked down the block and him and his wife would always catch me and bring me home!

they have everything original so it will need a little elbow greese but im not getting my hopes up cause i always get disapointed that way...

Just an FYI on our house...

We bid 20,000 less than the asking price, so they counter offered and we came back with 1,000 more than their counteroffer...

The accepted our bid, and we found out 2 days later that someone bid 7,000 higher than us and were willing to put down 100,000!!!!!! They could have easily pulled back their acceptance with us cause nothing was official yet.

We got this from our realtor (a family friend) and he said that they were still going to sell to us cause they like Chris cause he's into hot rods and so was the owner.

So it could be one little thing that makes them partial to you!!!!

Thats what i am hoping for... I really liked this house it had so much potential and not to mention my WHOLE family lives in this town.. I would RATHER stay in bellmore, but its soooo $$$$$$$$ here...so we are exploring this option.. I am hoping because they had so many stories about me when i was little and they spent so much time with us that they will give us the benefit of the dought.. but my dad always says 'little Sue dont get your hopes up' and my hopes were up the second i walked in the door, you would think after 30 years my father would know that i get my hopes up at the drop of a dime!

That was the same thing with MOH -- the house was in weird colors- counter top magenta/fushia. Living room brown and orange. They got it because they complimented the owner on the house. And becasue the owner thought they were a nice young couple!

I'll do the hoping for you......

If there's a bunch of bids, and all under (most people never offer the asking price first time around), they will counter offer. If you REALLY want the house, go at least 1,000 more than their counter offer and see what happens.....
