OK,

had the ultrasound and according to that, my baby is measuring about 7 weeks, 2 weeks less than the age going by my last period which would put me at 9 weeks 5 days.

They took blood and I have to go back for more bloodwork Thursday morning and another ultrasound next week.

They'll tell me more when they know more

The same thing just happened to my best friend although there was no heartbeat-did they see a heartbeat on yours???

I hope all is well. Ive seen a heartbeat with both babies at 7 weeks... 7 wks 2 days and 7 wks 4days.

Good luck Shana... remember, it's really early for an ultrasound so if there was no heartbeat, it might mean absolutely nothing... try not to fret (though I'm the first to know how impossible that is).... keep us updated

Weren't your cycles a bit screwy to begin with? When my friend got pregnant with her daughter they were concerned that she was measuring a lot smaller than what they had estimated but everything turned out fine - seems she just ovulated alot later than they thought. FYI, we saw a heartbeat at 6w5d...but the baby just looked like a dot.

Maybe you were off on when you O'd. They picked up my baby's heartbeat at exactly 6weeks with an internal sonogram.

Shana, your cycles were screwy as was mine. I had the baby by my calculations a week earlier then the dr insists the baby is. But on the ultrasounds the baby measure differently. It is all just a gestimate in the end. The baby will develop as it wants to and be born when it wants. I am sure it will be fine. Please keep us updated and try and relax and take it easy in the meantime until your next ultrasound

On my internal sonogram they saw a heartbeat @ 6weeks 2 days!

thank you all for your well wishes and positive outlooks. We are keeping a positive outlook because my cycles were kind of screwy!!

I go for the next ultrasound (I'm guessing that is different than a sonogram) next Wed, so that is over a full week of growth. It'll be a great Christmas gift!

Were your periods ever irregular? Mine were, and as a result my due date is four weeks later than would have been expected if you simply went by my last period!

I measured one week later than according to my last period. My cycles are a bit irregular so try not to worry too much. Remember its not an exact science...who knows when you actually conceived and hardly any babies are born on their exact due date.
