Re: Greek Brides??
I booked with Bravo Sounds. The also did my engagement party and they are AWSEOME!!!! I am having both because I also got an MC with Bravo and also, I wanted some things (like lighting, etc..) that my band is not able to do. Also, the DJ will play the more 'modern' greek pop-songs, while the band will do the more traditional dances.

Re: Greek Brides??
I really dont know
I guess to throw at FH without feeling guilty!
I got 8 everyday for me and FH ... they are relatively cheap - like 80 dollars for four place sets. So I wont care if they break.
and then I was thinking to get the 12 medium for guests and entertaining - Those are in the price range of the villeroy.
And i'll maybe use the good china once a year for a holiday...
I know, it's a lot of plates!!!! I am driving myself nuts!

Re: Greek Brides??
Angela - you could try Skarla's dance school in Ditmars - i think it is next to Kentrikon Noufaro. There is also a Kalina's Dance School - i just dont know where it is.I am only having everyday place and my good plates - both with be casual china by villeroy and boch - i know I am never going to use the really fancy fine china. We're in the process of looking for a coop now. When we buy our house that we plan on having kids in - maybe then I'll buy fine china.
Here are my everyday plates:
These are going to be our good plates:
If I were to get fine china - these are the dishes that I want they are by Bernadaud:

Re: Greek Brides??
Hi ladies!! Went out to the island for the weekend, so that's why Ive been MIA.Beautiful plates everyone posted!
Angela, those are by Pfaltzgraff - they are called Monaco. They look kinda like mosaic when you see them close-up.
Angela, I took private lessons (me, my borther, sis-in-law and my mom) at Kalina's for my brother's wedding... it was pretty good. I can get you the address if you'd like. I also found this website. I dont know if it's any good:GAFS
I am not sure about the GTG yet... I know we've tried this a hundred times, but lets try to get together aside from the GTG.
