Re: Has anyone ever been to a wedding at the Essex house?
Hi,That sounds like more than enough food Elizabeth. Even though the Essex House has a 'one of the top hotels for a wedding' reputation, I would try the food before you book just in case. I heard the Plaza food is only okay - but from a source on a board not from anyone I know. And, it sounds like you might be able to get some stuff thrown in from that other post. Maybe a cheese course at the end of the meal or some more dessert or upgraded wine or champagne throughout or fancy linens or something. Have you seen it yet or are you just researching?

My old boss got married there and it was fabulous. The food was delicous....very elegant affair. There was not a ton of food, but there was plenty!! And it was delicous! It was probably the most elegant wedding I have been to!Welcome New Vendors
