Has anyone every been to the Florida Keys?

Hi Ladies:

Was wondering if anyone has ever stayed at a resort in the Florida Keys. I've never been there, but I'm probably honeymooning there but I'm not sure where to stay. Marco Island?

My husband and I just came back from Sanibel Island and stayed at the Buttonwood Cottages. We had a great time. It's very relaxing. You can go online and type in sanibel... loads of information. Good luck.

Has anyone every been to the Florida Keys?

I used to live in FL, near Sanibel and it is gorgeous. Marco is ok-Sanibel is much better. Also, I just came back from a family vacation on Duck Key at the Hawk's Cay Resort. It was absolutely beautiful. It is only one hour from Key West and 2 hours from Miami. You really don't even have to leave the resort. It is a family place, not exclusively for honeymooners, but I thought about going back for mine. They do have an adult pool-very private and separate from the kids area. There is not much around outside of the resort. Key West was the next best place to visit. There is a great state park- Bajia Honda just south of the resort for a day trip. It's beautiful.
