I have to admit I don't take it at the same time everyday, and I have forgotten about it, but I have never had a scare.
My MOH has two babies, she got pregnant with the first one while on the pill, and the second one she was using the patch; can you believe it?

my cousin got preggo while on the pill but she was NOT taking it as she should have...so no real surprise there although she likes to tell people there is...

a friend of the family recently got preggo while on the pill she says she took it the same time EVERY day- unfortunately she decided not to have the baby...very sad situation

The only time I have heard of this happeneing is if you are traveling international/overseas, something about time change, etc....
My friend I work with, her SIL this happened to!

I am very diligent about taking it every day.
I was soooo paranoid in Hawaii, because I didnt know when to take the pill, NY time, or Hawaii time? I was freaking out!! Thank god AF is here.

I figure thats probably the reason people have accidental honeymoon babys. But I sure as anything am NOT ready.

We're going to london and paris - I've been wondering the same thing. I usually take my pill every night before bed, at 11:00. So if was to stay on NY time, then I'd have to take it at 4:00 am London time or 5:00 am Paris time!

My friend got prego 2 times. The last time she did take anti-b's so that's why but I also know a girl who has 3 children and all were conceived on the pill

I hate the pill!

YIKES!!! It's scary to know that even people taking it correctly (I take it within a 1/2 hour time frame every day) still get PG.

Wow, girls thanks so much for all your responses. I had a scare, but found out that I'm ok. I don't know, it was so weird, because my body just 'felt so different' and I did mess up on my pills a few weeks ago, so I was concerned. If it were to happen, it wouldn't be the worst thing to happen as I'm dying to have a child, but right now we're in the process of buying a home and we need to establish ourselves financially FIRST before we take on another expense. We don't want to have to put our child in daycare or have to negligect this baby with anything it needs or wants. What can I say, we're trying our hardest to be responsible and sensible. But if it were to happen, I'm sure things would work out as they always do.

Again, thanks again. I must be more careful now.

I'm glad to hear everything worked out for you.

I'm another one who got pg on the pill. But I was messing with them so that I wouldn't have my period on my HM. Instead, I got a HM baby!

When I told my Drs what I did, they were still surprised that I managed to get PG because I did not miss any pills.

Anyway, that said, I won't be going on the pill ever again. I'm looking into other forms of BC.
