these are great! I am trying to make them from MICHAELS but so far I Went there last wednesday night and last night and they are out of the dresses to make to put on the cards! I'm getting aggravated! I Wanted this done already!

MY SON'S FIANCE WROTE BEATIFUL POEMS TO EACH BRIDESMAID, WHICH SHE READ AT THE ENGAGEMENT PARTY. SHE THEN FRAMED THEM, GAVE IT TO THEM, WITH SOME FLOWERS. IT WAS VERY BEAUTIFUL AND EVERYONE THOUGHT VERY UNIQUE.

I used a poem similar to the one Theresa posted. I sent the girls flowers to where they work with cards telling them I had a question to ask them and to read their e-mail, then call me. I sent the poem by e-mail. What girl doesn't like to get pretty flowers at work?

girls- i am loving all these poems, keep them coming so i can use a different one for each girl. you girls are so creative!!! i could never write poems like these.

did anyone write the groomsmen a letter too or just bridesmaids?

These are all great ideas. I am just trying to figure out if I want to do it all at one time, or ask each girl individually in a special way....I pretty much have a gift for each one, as well as a card - but I don't know if I want my FH there as well (if it works out) or if I should do it alone.

Also - all my girls don't really know each other so well, so i was thinking maybe just inviting each of them over to my apartment on sunday for a casual brunch, breka out the champagne, and ask them there....

Please tell me your thoughts!!!! THANK YOU!

So sorry to be annoying - but could you FM me with any suggestions - I wont know where this msg. board is or how to find responses!!!!!!

Yes, My Fiance and I bought some beautiful stationary and made a card with our pictures on it.We wrote each person a personalized message asking them to stand up for us on our special day. Unfortunately only 1 of my people called me back. I was so hurt. Even my sister didn't call me to tell me she received it. So my only advice is make sure you tell them to call you if they accept.

i did the will you be my BM cards- made them from michaels and found a cute poem to put in them! worked out well- as they got them they called immediately

No, it is a craft store that has many things for really cheap. Right now they are having a huge sale. I don't know where you live but I know they have them all over. Go online and do a search to find locations.

I bought blank cards from Michael's and wedding 3D sticker accents to decorate the card. I them put a poem in each of them and wrote a special something on the other side of the card.

I bought cards and wrote something special to each of my girls. As long as it's heartfelt and nice it will be wonderful. Just write about how you're so excited to be joining their family and that you want them to be a special part of the day.
