Ok, here's some suggestions, and yes-you can do this.

First, let me suggest a wedding planner to help you. Elaine DeLuca saved our wedding on several counts when we were doing things last minute. She knows who to call and can save you so much time. She's worth every dime, although she's not nearly as expensive as most planners. Here's her contact info: 516-292-3338 - [email protected]

Gown, this should be your first assignment: In NYC: Michael's Consignment on Madison Ave., The Gown Co. has a sample showroom that has gorgeous designer gowns you can buy off the rack, The Bridal Garden on 39th, Blue on 9th street (she'll design it for you and may be able to do it on short notice).

Photographer I can recommend, if you like photojournalism- Jonathan Hubschman (www.makarion.com).

DJ-Call David at Expressway music, he was awesome and not tacky, and he can hook you up with a string trio or some such thing for the ceremony if he's not booked. www.expresswaymusic.com

Florist-I got lucky and Flower Michele was able to do mine on 2 weeks notice. They may be booked for your day, but it just goes to show that calling around can get you an awesome florist on short notice. Oh, and Elaine hooked us up with him, we may not have been able to do it on our own.

For favors try a donation, then you can have the donation cards made at the same time as the invites.

We needed invitations VERY last minute and renaissance writings is able to turn their stuff around usually within a week! The quality is awesome and we got so many compliments, plus their prices were not nearly as high as some others. And, the owners are so nice. Edited to add: www.renaissancewritings.com

A flowergirl basket, cake knife/server set, bags of lavendar, 12 table number holders, bride/groom champagne glasses, hairpins, a garter I never wore.

I definitely think that you have enough time to pull off a beautiful wedding! I agree with the other girls in regards to booking your venue first, then you can line up the vendors. The florist who did my flowers actually lives in Brooklyn, if you want his information, just FM me.

My hairdresser just moved to Manhattan and she did a wonderful job, it was actually Jacqueline Nichole's friend. So if you want her info... just let me know.

As for make-up, try going to the MAC store and see what they can do. You could check out trunk sales for dresses and bring it to a seamstress to alter for you.

I went to the MAC store the day b/f my wedding and did my own makeup and it turned out very good. You could do that.
