I'm doing Africa. four night luxury safari and then flying to capetown for 5 nights. tons of activities but definitley time to relax. Game drives are early am and early evening - so afternoons are for relaxing and siestas. capetown has tons of history and sightseeing, plus a notable wine country. If you didn't want to do the beach, I would stay in the winelands.

Europe! I flew into Frankfurt Germany when my Ex was over seas in Iraq and we took the Euro Train to Paris, stayed for 5 days, and then took the Euro Train down to Muich Germany for the Oktoberfest! If you want to wait a few weeks for your honeymoon, your right on track to experience that! It is the last week of Sept and First week of October.

Meditteranean cruises are really hot right now. I know a lot of honeymooners who did it and loved it. We are doing it too...pick a nice ship and you get to relax, eat and tour...and best of all, no planning involved! Call RANDI at Power travel - 516-822-9222

Re: Help...Honeymoon ideas??
Personally, if you have never done a cruise, I wouldn't do it for your honeymoon.I did a 5 night cruise from Tampa to Grand Cayman and Playa del Carmen one February and the water was pretty rough. I got sea sick and had to take motion sickness meds which just made me sleep all day. My FH also started to feel sick on that cruise. BUT my FH had done that same cruise with his friends a few years before and he said it was perfectly calm that year.
I would recommend to anyone to try a short cruise first before jumping into a Mediterranean one or any long cruise. Even if you don't get sea sick, you may not enjoy being on a boat for so long.
