Well,

Yesterday...I went to Westbury Manor, Sand Castle and Swan Club.....they gave me really good prices for the Tuesday after Labor Day. The range was from $55-$65...those prices were fine....At westbury manor when I inquired about Nov 11...which is a saturday the cost was $120.00 pp.... and that is for the same menu that they would have given on a tuesday.....

What to do?

We have Fox Hollow for $89 including tax/grat for a Sunday Night in April.

The reason the price doubled at WM was b/c it's a Saturday.

I would honestly steer clear of a Tuesday.

Easter weekend, particularly good friday is cheaper... obvious there are religious observances but if that doesn't hinder you, it may be an affordable option.

EVERYONE will be working that day coming off a 3 day weekend. Really bad day to have a wedding. JMHO

I would go to Leonards-inquire about a friday in April...u might want to check out Good Friday..my friend is paying 70 including tax & gratuity for that day at the Sand Castle...

how was your friend able to get 70 pp including tax and gratituties.....most places told me a set price let's say 60.00 then an additional 18% gratituity and 8.62 or 8.25 for the sales tax......

Am I being robbed?

Stick to an off month and a weekend date. You want your guests to be able to come - don't do a weeknight or a holiday, like Easter....
