Callan,

date twin, you're gonna hate me.... but i had ALL of mine done by the end of march. i am OCD.....

but i wouldn't go past the 6 month mark... it's just me....people say a year, but i personally think that's a little rude.

ohhhhhh Karen you are making me look bad.... I defo won't go past 6 months, aiming for 5 when school is over-- we are still receiving cards!!!

I did it within 6 months but had hoped to take less time. I think a lot of it depends on your TYs..if you're using ones from your photographer it can sometimes take 4 months or whatever to even get your pictures back and TYs made up.

a year.. but after 6 months ppl start talking...

Some family members were asking my MIL I think a month after our wedding. She told them that we didn't even have our pictures back yet!

Mine still aren't out after 8 months, but I had problems with them. They are being redone and I am waiting for the call.

I know a lot of people are saying a year - but I think that refers to the time frame to send a gift. I think 6 months is a better mark.... I think we did ours by our 5th month.... (we didn't get our pictues until after 4 months).

You should try to get them out as soon as you can -- i got my thank you pics within a month so i was able to get them out early...plus it was still really fresh in mind and i was able to personalize the cards better

I agree. The sooner you get them done, the better you will feel.

They say a year... I don't think I have ever received a thank you in 2 months. Usually between 3-5 months.

you have a year-- but we sent ours out in 6 months--- just didnt want to forget it all together!! Plus with me having the baby-- i certainly couldnt have them invited to a baby shower when I hadnt thanked them for the wedding gift!!
