hotel/airfare booking

Hello. Well this bride to be has the chance to be a guest soon! I am invited to a wedding in June and will need to take a plane and stay over. Does anyone have any suggestions of good websites to use. I am only familiar with Lowestfare.com and am curious if any of you have tried others.

I appreciate your help! Lexi

Hi Lexi: I've gone to the actual airlines home pages and went to Schedules/Fares/Specials pages and tried to book directly throught them. Also try priceline.com I don't know if they have airline prices, but they might becuase they have everything else. I went to Spirit Airlines with my Travel Agent at work and foud 149 round trip and also my hotel was 269 a night and she got the same room for me for 125. Good Luck

We are from Califonia and visit NY yearly, actually since the engagement 10 months ago, I have been there 3 times. We use Yahoo travel, they have good prices. Also try cheapseats & cheaptickets.

I use www.travelocity.com and www.expedia.com all the time. They are great!!!

Other dad gifts (men are so hard to shop for!) could be things like a special book with a written message from you on the inside cover, tickets to a ball game for the dads or something along those lines.

Hope this helps:-) Stephanie

Thanks

Well, look at that, people were able to give their opinions without being blasted.....I'll call it progress, folks! Thanks for the info! We are on a tight budget trying to save for our own wedding and want to attend my friends wedding without spending more than we have to....thanks :)

You are also right about the importance of meeting with more than one photographer. I've met with 2 and spoken to three on the phone. The other photographer I met with was intimidating and kind of flacky. Her prices were slightly less than the person I really like, but our personalities did not mesh.
