Re: How are you losing weight and getting 'buff' for the wedding and HM?
I've been doing Weight Watchers (although I have to admit I'm not being very good about it this week - very stressed) and I love it because it's easy to get back on track and get to your goals. Also, I go to the gym a few times per week. In another couple of months, I'm doing 8 sessions with a trainer at the Personal Training Institute in Smithtown (next to Starbucks and Daffy's) on Main Street. It's under $250 (I want to say $230 maybe - it was a gift, so I don't remember). They seem to be the cheapest around for that kind of a package. Just remember that no matter what we do, we need to be healthy and every bride is beautiful on her wedding day!

How are you losing weight and getting
I have dropped two dress sizes just by eating right and going to the gym. I do weight lifting four times a week and I go for a power walk (four miles) five to six times a week with my dog.My best tips for loosing weight:
- Drink a lot of green or white tea with lemon.
- Drink a lot of water
- half of my every meal is vegetables or berries (I'm a strong believer that fruits will only add sugar to your diet so I avoid them)
- Only wholewheat pasta or bread, I usually only eat rye bread or rye pasta with added protein
- proteins every meal, I eat lean meat, like chicken, tuna or salmon
-If I need to snack I eat few nuts
- I use stairs a lot
- I eat breakfast every morning, usually I eat berries like raspberries and blueberries and non fat fromage frais.
- I try to eat something every three hours, so I don't get too hungry and eating regularly keeps metabolism going
-I put chili on everything I eat (except breakfast)

How are you losing weight and getting
I'm on a new diet/exercise plan, partly because of my wedding in 2 years, partly because of the wedding I'm in next year, mostly because I'm at an unhealthy weight and it needs to stop.- Only drink water or skim milk (skim milk is great for protein)
- Work out at least 6 days a week for 30 minutes
- Two servings of veggies every day (it should be more, but I hate the majority of veggies so this is my starting point)
- five small meals a day, totaling no more than 1500 calories/day
- protein intake for at least 3 of my meals
- no white breads or pastas
Cayenne pepper is great for speeding up your metabolism and it also adds a nice bite to certain dishes, like turkey chili!
Also, portion control really does go a long way. I literally measured out 1 cup of Cheerios the other morning to get exactly one serving in. It seems so small, and the beginning of a strict diet is tough, but I think it's going to be worth it when my waistline shrinks!
I made a blog to document my progress: goal115.blogspot.com
I'm also allowing myself one cheat meal each week. This is my first full week on the plan, and I'm looking very forward to the weekend and trying to decide what crap I want to eat for dinner on Saturday.
