I have only been in a few weddings party's but they all had drama do you think the smaller wedding party you have the less chance of drama you will have? I am scared to many heads might clash and I just don't want that to happen.

I'd say absolutely yes. The more people you have the more opportunity there is for argument, especially as it seems a lot of argument and frustration is caused by people not agreeing on what they should wear and offering their opinions, etc, etc.


Of course, some people just cause drama regardless, but there's not much you can do about that besides try to avoid having them in your bridal party.

I asked them all. If I could go back I would have waited a while on asking. If would have been nice to see who wanted to get involved and who really does not care to help out more. Things change even with family! I would change it but its hard once I asked them to now go and change things.

I have 1 MOH and 5 BM's
FH has 1 BM and 9 Ushers. (4 are our brothers that we added after the fact)

Plus 1 Junior BM and 1 FG

6 bm (includes moh) and 6 or 5 gm (includes bestman) 1 Jr BM 1 FG and possibly a rb (he will be a year old in August)

I have 4 brothers and wanted them all to be included. FH is an only child.

Currently the idea is 1 MOH, 4BM, 5FG, 1RB, and not sure about GM, might add another BM but i need to see who FI wants to ask to be GM.

For awhile I wanted 7 people on my side but, I figured that was too big and I was just going to ask the additional people because I felt obligated (I was in their wedding parties and barely see or talk to them) and I didn't want them to be hurt. I talked with a mutual friend of the girls and I (who wasn't expecting to be asked) and she was like it's your day, dont' worry about them! So i picked my closest friends/family instead. I'm having the other two do a reading or something at the wedding.

Wow i'm glad to see that everyone else's wedding parties are so big!! (and mine's not the only one!!)

On my side it's still tentative b/c I have to see if my sister and cousin can come from Brazil, if they can then it will be them plus my best friend, my future sister in law, my 2 good friends, my cousin from Florida and my future step daughter, so between 5 and 7. :) Plus a flower girl and a ring bearer.

On his side it's his best friend, his brother in law, 3 friends, and his nephew. So far its 5 for him.

If my sister does come her and my best friend will walk in together.

there are 5 other's we must have not sure if they'll be ushers or grooms men?

and I don't think we're goingto have any little boys in the wedding, we don't want our bp growing anymore, however if we hurt any of their feelings they will definitly be in the wedding...

We wanted to keep it non-huge...
I am having 1 MOH and 5 BMs
no flower girls or ring bearers, as there are no children in our family.
Then FH is having 1 Best Man and a few GMs
