My father in law died in June. I loved that man he never did nothing wrong ever.

My mother in law is a pain. She can stab you in the back faster then anything then when she needs you she is your best friend.

I am in the same boat!!

My FMIL is Great! And My FI sisters and I are very close, I talk to them all the time and I always hang out with his older sister, and I am always on the phone with his younger (she lives in Florida). They are all awsome!!!!

I get along with them great. My family lives down in florida, so his parents are like my family up here. Maybe once you get married she will become easier to get along with.

I love his entire family. It only helps that me, his mother, grandmother, and deceased father all share the same Bday.

i really love my FIL's they are really laid back and so sweet. My FH is from NH and I am from NY (we live in NY) so its really hard to see his parents but when we do its great! I am so happy

FMIL is great..love her to death. FBIL's live far away, in the military and haven't gotten to know them. (One FBIL is in Iraq, and I have been writing him and sending care packages, and we have become great friends.)

as for FFIL...well we can't all get along, can we? He likes me to my face, and then talks crap about me to FH. He and FH do not get along very well either. (Going on 3 months that they haven't spoken) So it's not that big of a deal. I'd rather he not be involved, cause he's a horrible, horrible person.

But my FH gets along GREAT with my family, and they love him to death.
