I am hearing about women kicked off for being a.... And, women wrongly being accused of being

How do you know? What are some of the signs? I am just curious - and fascinated why someone would come on here if they werent a bride - don't they have better things to do with their time???
What's up with that????
The number one sign of a
is a poster whose very first post is a thread either bashing a vendor or singing their praises.People do this for a variety of reasons. Some are just trolls out to start drama and cause trouble. Others are vendors trying to plug their own business (although you won't see a LIW vendor do this), some are friends of vendors.
The one thing they all have in common is too much time on their hands.

I know I was accused of being a fake because I was raving about a woman who did $25 updos! And this was like my 60th post on here. While there are fakes, people should not be quick to judge.

Re: How do you know a bride-to-be is a fake?
Sometimes you can tell a fake because they always post the same thing (generally vendors, but they're pretty easy to spot), sometimes there's SOOO much drama around a person they can't possibly be real...or they just spew so much B.S. that they either have egos the size of Texas or they're fakers trying to get attention. Once there was a fake who posted for MONTHS and made 'friends' with some of the brides on here until someone discovered the truth. Come to think of it, this has happened at least twice.Personally I don't believe in calling people out unless it is soooo blatantly obvious because there have been times when brides have been falsely accused and you don't want to hurt someone who may be innocent, but at the same time brides have been hurt by befriending people who aren't genuine.

One of those 'brides' was mentioned the other day on a thread about 'LIW girls I'd like to meet most'!
I don't believe in calling people out either. There are nicer ways to find out if someone is faking, by simply asking them a few questions about their planning, or if they say they've already been married, ask them for pictures. The recent
s on here caught me TOTALLY by surprise, but I still stand by my beliefs that it's wrong to call people out unless you ABSOLUTELY know for sure.

Re: How do you know a bride-to-be is a fake?
fakes are either:vendors posting pretending to be brides just to boost their business
or
vendors trying to bash their competition posting complaining about services they received
or
weirdos that like to cause drama then disappear
