Re: How long are you taking off from work for the wedding.. ???

My wedding was on a Friday. I was planning on working until the end of the day on Tuesday, but I got ansy and couldn't consentrate on anything work related so I left half way through the day on Monday... .
Although we couldn't honeymoon, I still took the following week off too.

Re: How long are you taking off from work for the wedding.. ???

I am taking 1 paid month off and can not wait!! 1 week before the wedding, 2 week honeymoon and 1 week to relax when we get back from the honeymoon, before going back to work. Do you think I will want to go back to work at that point? LOL

Re: How long are you taking off from work for the wedding.. ???

Definitely two weeks for HM but not sure how many days before the wedding. I'll have to wait and see how much I still need to do or how calm or stressed I am!!

I'll be out of the office a total of 11 business days but I'll be out 15 days total. Our honeymoon is only 8 nights but I'm taking off 3 days prior to the wedding and a day after we get back.

Re: How long are you taking off from work for the wedding.. ???

about 2-3 days before, and 2 weeks after. I doubt we'll be HM for 2 whole weeks, but the extra time off will be good

luckily i work in publishing, and we get 4 wks vaca/year (plus personal, plus sick).

I want to take off a month but I might only take three weeks because I don't want to exhaust all my vacation time!

Re: How long are you taking off from work for the wedding.. ???

About three days before (I have to travel to NY!) and maybe three days after.

We are not taking our honeymoon for a few months after that. Then probably two weeks
