The whole shabang was at one place so for us almost everyone came.

We had our church about 4:30 and the coctail hour started at 8.. we had a bout 50 people at Church..
My husbnads fam went back to my house in bewtween since they were all dressed and it was down the block..

to your ceremony?

The chapel FH and I want to get married in only fits 130 people, but we are inviting 180 to our wedding. Just wanted to get a feel for how many people might show up/ not show up. This place is also about 40 minutes from my reception site.

I think you'll be fine with that chapel.

ours was pretty much everyone because it was at the same place.

However, at my friends, they had over 300 people, but only about 150 came to the ceremony (ceremony was in smithtown, recpetion at sand castle).

the further the distance, and the greater the span of time between the two, the more people that will skip the ceremony.

A nice amount of people came to my church but not everyone being my ceremony and reception time was far apart and people were coming from all over.

Since it was a Saturday we had about 75% of invited guests come to the Church.

I think if your ceremony and reception are far apart in time and location, you may be safe not having everyone show up at the church

I got married on a Saturday. The church was at 2 and my cocktail hour started at 8. I would say I had about 200 people in my church. There were people there to see you get married even if you did not invite them to the church. I would leave room to spare. I would hate for many people to have to stand.
