Re: How many places did you look at?
I went to 15 different places...I made an index card on each place that I went to with pros and cons (what a waste of time)...
when you walk into the place where you are going to be married, you know its 'the place'.

I have a question - Are they making you use one of their house florists?

We did not use a house florist, nor was 'forced' to...just another reason why we loved our RH!

Re: How many places did you look at?
So far we've been to 7. Its pretty much down to Crest Hollow and JT. I reallly want JT. He does too but its a little cheaper going with Crest. I dont care about a 1200.00 difference. I want JT. I think it'll be a better venue then Crest. The atmosphere is just better. IDK what to do. FH wants Crest I want JT. I will shed some tears if I have too. LOL And we still have 2 more appts on sunday..

Three. It was the first place we looked at that we loved so each one we looked at after was disappointing so we stopped looking!!

Re: How many places did you look at?
We looked at 4:Old Field Club
DeSeversky Center
Milleridge Cottage
Harbor Club
We went to OFC first and were 99.9% sure we would book there but my mom said we should go to a few more just to make sure.

No..my hall does not require specific florists. But I know some halls do require you to book one of their house florists.

Re: How many places did you look at?
'0' LOL!
I have planned my wedding from overseas entirely via the internet. I would look at websites of different halls, narrow it down and make some calls, read reviews and look at photos and then if all looked good--send my parents to check it out. Only 2 made the cut.
When I found my place (online) I knew this was IT. I sent my parents over 2 hours away to look at it and it was perfect.
I am actually glad I was spared the headache of running around to look at places... I am so bad with making any type of decisions, so this way worked out well for me actually.
