we went to one, booked it, then went to another and cancelled the first one!!! we were sure with our second choice..the first choice was just a nice place but the second was THE place!! you'll know when you get there..i would go see another one comparable to it just to compare!!

I looked at 20 places and the one I picked was one of the last I looked at. I went to a wedding at the Vineyardlast year on new years eve. It was a very nice place, I think I liked it even more because of the Christmas decorations and the small waiting room with the fireplace, They had wine and beer served to us while we waited to go in to the cocktail hour. Good food! The one thing I didn't like about the place was the dance floor, it was very small and me and FH hardly had any space to dance. Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!

i had already decided at the first place, but we still went to 2 others just to make sure. Though, if I had been on this website then, i probably would have went to more - there are so many that i didn't know about!

We went to see 9 places but I fell in love with the Fox Hollow after seeing 2 places

I went to around 15 or so places before making my decision. I saw about 4 up north (as far north as New Paltz), about 3-4 in CT, 2 in Westchester (where I live) and then 4-5 places in LI.

we looked at 3... and went with the first place...seeing the other 2 confirmed our feelings about the first place!

We looked at 5 places and held off booking Flowerfield until we could discuss it further even though we both loved it. We wanted to be sure. We had them hold the date for us and then we took our parents back with us and booked later that week.

I went to 1 with my FH and seeing how after 2 mins he said what ever you want dear I went to another 6 with my mother before I found the place I wanted and I knew it as soon as I walked it ....I ended up at the Hamlet ....Good luck!

We looked at 5 because so many of our friends have just recently gotten married that we already knew what a lot of places looked like and what they cost.

We liked some of the places where our friends got married but we wanted a hall with only 1 event at a time.

Did a ton of research online and narrowed it down A LOT - then just looked at a handful.

we looked at seven and actually knew we were going to book north ritz the minute we went there! We stopped looking then! The thing is, having gone to other places we knew what we liked and didn't like as far as menu, arrangements, etc so it made it easasier, i think, to make the decisions/arrangements at the north ritz...and we are so happy and so looking forward to our day!!! in the beautiful north ritz!

We only looked at two. I loved the Fox Hollow so we decided to book it.

Three Village (which was my second runner up), Stuart Manor, Thatched Cottage, Louis XVI and there were about 2 others that I can't remember right now.
