Re: How many places do you look at?
ugh! this has been the most daunting part of the process for me.i've looked at about 12 places with my mom and sister. we've narrowed it down to about 3.
Next, my FH gets to come look at the short-list, and hopefully, we'll agree on 'the one.'
good luck--it's tough

Re: How many places do you look at?
If you're going to talk with Bill, you will love him. We did. It's a great place. We looked at three. I have a little bit of an edge on which halls we would look at because FH is a videographer. (He's been to almost...everywhere!) I think you should have them hold your date for a week. (That's what Bill did for us) and see one or two more places before making a decision. If you like the idea of the Vineyards check our Raphael's as well! GOOD LUCK!

Re: How many places do you look at?
We looked at about 17 places, however we booked the first place we saw. I made myself shop around, because it is a huge investment. When I walked into Flowerfield I knew it was the place of my dreams, but I wasnt sure if DH and I could pay for it. So, we kept looking. I booked my wedding at the Crecent for an unbelievable price. Then I week later I got my deposit back and went to Flowerfield and booked it. My heart belonged to FF from the beginning. I got married on Good Friday to get a better deal. It was so worth it!

Re: How many places do you look at?
I am really crazy since I booked mine before I even saw it. I just knew it was where I was getting married- it was on the water, only one wedding, incredible grounds and great food. It was a no brainer. My dance floor is sort of small however and I still don't know where we are putting the band!
It was worth the compromise though.

Re: How many places do you look at?
i looked at about 4, but as soon as i walked into the watermill i knew that was where i wanted my wedding to be. if, when you go there and you absolutely love it, i would have them hold the date for you, look at a couple more places and then make a decision.
