Huntington Townhouse

I would like to know if anyone has any information regarding the Huntington Townhouse. Good or Bad.

I just reserved the date 9/00, and got a copy of the contract. I thought the contract was vague. I want to have all the details in the contract, like the menu, so that I won't have any problems two months before the wedding. Did any of you do anything like that? I hadn't thought about tasting before signing, I'd heard such great things about the food, but I'm going to ask for a tasting before we sign. I'm a little paranoid, but reading some of the postings can scare you.

Gina, I'm curious, were you happy with the floral arrangements you got from the Milleridge florist?

Bad. E-mail me and I will tell you the details.

We just ordered our dresses(I'm a MOH) from Flowerama in Macy's Smithaven Mall. They are very busy there. You really need to make an appointment to get decent help, but, they do welcome you to come and look around to check out their selection. If you do not see the exact dress you are looking for you have to ask, someone else might be trying it on.

We chose a new dress for Spring 2000 by Watters & Watters. We had a very picky group of girls and we had trouble deciding between 3 dresses. We loved them all! The dress with alterations(if needed) was $230.00 that was tax free because we ordered it on the tax free day and paid in full.

Hi, Lynn!

I'm with Jennifer on this...BAD! We checked the place out, and although the prices were nice and the people were pleasant, we thought the place was a pit! First, the place smelled moldy. Second, the decor was aweful...they had nice things but NOTHING matched. And, worst of all, they said that they were just finishing redorating, and there were water stains on the wall.

I will have to agree. I was very disappointed with the cleanliness issue. They have a terrific opportunity to capitolize on a huge wedding market, and they just keep losing the business.

Hi Lynn!

I have to agree with everyone else. I have 2 words to say "WEDDING MILL". There are so many weddings going on there at one time that they do not focus 110% of their attention to YOU. I know that they have seperate kitchens for all of their rooms, but the fact that there are many more weddings going on....YOU should be their focus. I am not saying that places where there are multiple weddings are bad, when you have 7 at one time, that's a lot!

Just my two cents!

I had my engagement party there this past summer and was pretty pleased. But as everyone has mentioned, they have multiple events going on at one time. The food is good, but the service and staff weren't as professional as they could have been. The decor in the Huntington isn't for everyone and has to be something you like. I hope this helps. Good Luck! If you want more info you can e-mail me directly and I would be happy to talk you about my experience there.

Hi Gina, I would love to see your pictures. I am going to check out Milleridge tomorrow. I was planning on a Spring/Summer wedding.I didn't even consider the Christmas decorations. Again I would love to see the pics. Thanks

its in Negril, Jamaica
