Re: i called bridal reflections today...
I haven't bought my gown yet.. But i did go to Bridal Reflections in Carle Place and everyone was very nice I thought. Over the phone they told me that their price range is $1500 - $10,000. I guess everyone has different experiences..... Bridal Couture on the other hand... they weren't rude.. but I had showed the woman a picture of a gown I was considering and she thought I would look back in 30 yrs and regret it.. .LOLOLOL i was a little taken back by that considering I was merely showing her the style of dress I was looking for. hahahaha

Re: i called bridal reflections today...
I will NEVER go to Bridal Reflections in Massapequa after being so rude and stuck up to my MOH (lisaslove) I will NEVER recommend them to any of my friends or coworkers and I will NEVER even look at their website. The only reputation they have maintained is their high prices and rude customer service. Don't worry Lisa, Lillette's is way nicer and better!

Re: i called bridal reflections today...
It so amazes me that people who can gain financially will be rude and still thing they can get away with it. COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN, COMPLAIN.

Re: i called bridal reflections today...
I can't believe that!! I know personally that I had a budget and doubled it when I found the dress! To think that they do business this way in uncalled for! They are certainly people who you don't want involved in helping you make your decision! Plus I WOULD call them tell them you want an appointment give them an outstanding huge budget to work for and go there just to waste their time and be a pain in the a$$ - then when you are done let them know how it feels to be on the other end.I like to turn things around on other people!

I can't believe this. I am a little surprised. I ordered my dress through them and they were fine. They asked me for my budget as well and they said it is only b/c they didn't want to show me a dress I couldn't afford.

Re: i called bridal reflections today...
when I told them my budget, they showed me dresses that were at the highest end...i don't like how they keep all the dresses so you can't see any - i was very turned off - but they do have beautiful dresses....however for BM dresses, we found a bill levkoff at another bridal store for $100 LESS than what bridal reflections had it for.....

Re: i called bridal reflections today...
omg i can't even begin to tell you the experience i had there!!
so that doesn't surprise me at all...they gave me the biggest problem b/c i'm an 07 bride and they said i came too early for my dress. i explained that i was going to keep it in storage on my own and wanted to get a dress then (plus my taste is very traditional so it would not be a problem). i went there with money IN hand and the lady rolled her eyes at me and laughed at the fact that i was getting married in 2007...
so i went to a nicer girl who did help me and was very sweet and i found the dress i wanted in literally ten minutes (when you know you know and i'm not the type to hem and haw over a decision--i make quick ones when i like something)... so i went the manager and explained what happened with the rude lady, stated that the other girl was nice but that my experience overall was so bad i was going to go and buy the dress somewhere else. to prove my point i showed her the money i had with me right there and then i went to burton's to get my dress, same one as in BR, saved HUNDREDS of dollars (which almost didn't even matter-- it was the principal, but still it was a nice bonus) and i let them know it!!
i was VERY disappointed with that place and i hoped at the time that other people who went there would have better experiences-- still, it wasn't a total waste, i found my gown there and i was lucky enough to find the best veil/headpiece lady in the world there also--denise leli!! love her!
so sorry they did that to you!!!! you should go somewhere else and get your dress with great service!! getting your wedding gown should be the most enjoyable experience!! good luck

They told me the same thing. So I called Massapequa and increased my budget ( so i could get an appointment) I plan on finding my dress there but once I do I will order and buy it somewhere else. The nerve of them!!

I was warned before getting engaged about them. The list of complaints keeps growing!

I can't believe that they ask you your budget BEFORE you can make an appointment. From a professional point of view, I don't care how good you are, that is just extremely rude!!!!! I would definitely not give my money to them!!!

Re: i called bridal reflections today...
I have heard alot of complains about them when I use to live in NY. I met they are bridal shows and they were very snobish... They were prejuding who to approach at the bridal show.. When you are in a line of buisness like that you should not treat people that way.

Re: i called bridal reflections today...
I dealt with them for everything; when I made my appointment at the Massapequa location, no one asked my price range until I was actually there for my appointment and looking around. So please do call and complain. They were incredibly nice to me there (Kathy and Gloria were the ladies I worked with) but once your dress comes in, it's a different story. I don't suggest using them. There are so many other great bridal shops on LI - but definitely complain. No bride deserves to be treated that way.

I completely agree. I got my dress at BR in Carle Place. I dealt with Jackie, who was wonderful. However, things changed after I purchased the dress. I had issues with the service and they weren't accommodating. For the amount of $ they charge, the service and attitudes should be better. Also, the women in the BM dress department are extremely rude, and the seamstresses for the BM dresses aren't very competent.
I understand why they ask your budget before making an appointment. Their dresses are $$$ and if your budget is less than the cheapest dress they carry, it doesn't make sense to book an appointment.
