Thanks Chris, it was good to hear him call me himself. Yesterday he was so scared that he wasn' going to see any of us again. I yelled at him and told him not to think that way so when he called I gave him the 'I told you so' and he laughed.

Oh Good news Liz. He will be better than before....I bet he isn't going to believe how much healthier he will feel. Sometimes people don't realize how sick they were until after.

You and your family are in my thoughts. I hope that all turns out well. I remember my dad having to blow through that apparatus and 'keep the balls in the air' and having to keep on pushing him to use it!

Mary, sorry for your loss. It was very interesting to hear about the Amish and their traditions.

Thank you Kathy, he is better today and in his own room now which is good. He said they got him up to walk and are pushing him to do his breathing. Hopefully the worse is over.

I agree it is very very interesting to learn about the Amish traditions.

Yes we all went on Sunday and he gave us a big smile. He is now in his own room and hopefully will go home tomorrow if he continues to improve. They will send a nurse everyday for a while to check on him and do therapy.

Great...I am so glad you got to visit with him. It sounds like he is definitely doing very well. It is good to hear about his progress.

Vito is going home today which is good for him and good for Patrice, SIL, because she is just as exhausted from the visits and stress. Hopefully it will all be smooth sailing fr om now on.
