Me: I work in a homeless shelter, which is a program designed to get the families into permanent housing. I'm also a grad student at Post for Mental Health Counseling.
He: Works at Geico as an examiner in the personal injury claims department.
Met: At Luxe in Levittown after we stared at each other for one year, but never spoke.
Ring: White gold, a center stone, with six small diamonds surrounding it, sort of like a flower shape.
Proposal: I picked out the ring, so it was no suprise. It took place in his room. I went with him that day to get the ring so I was just sitting in his room saying, 'So, when are you going to ask me to marry you?' I really wan't in need of much fluff... I just wanted to be engaged to him.
Wedding: Sept. 23, 2005 at the George Washington Manor
Honeymoon: I want to go to Graceland!! And Montreal!!! I don't fly.
Dress: I haven't bought it yet, but I love this one.

How we met: My sister is friends with this girl, who's fiance is friends w/ Clive. We were all at a bar in Yonkers watching a house band play and it just went from there.

Engaged: at my birthday dinner in Nov 2002 in front of dad and sister

Married: 4/30/04 on LI

My ring: was his mother's. She is deceased. I treasure it like nothing else! (besides him of course!)

HM: Hawaii baby He wants to live there
