Omg, I can't believe she said that to you!!

How rude and, quite frankly, your purity is none of her business!! What a major dumb@ss in this day and age to make a comment like that!!

So to answer your question, yes it's ok to wear white!

I had to bring this up. I got criticized the other day for saying I want my wedding dress to be white. And this very nasty women who knows I have childern, made a comment that white wedding dresses should only be worn by 'pure' women. I was so offended. I feel that all women are entitled to wear a white wedding dress, no matter their situation. This women even went so far as to suggest that I wear peach or some other light color, but exclude white from my selection. I really don't understand how people could still think this way. I'm wearing white now no matter what.

If that was the case I'd be in trouble too, I have a son and FH has three so what? Are we supposed to wear black??

Tell that lady to mind her business and learn some manners. What ever happened to 'if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say nothing at all?' Some people are so insensitive.

If only virgins wore white, there would be a rush on colored wedding gowns. If someone said that to me I would punch them..and then I would tell them that i am pure, my love for FH is pure and no one can take that away from me

I had the same reaction by soemone also.....lets be realistic its 2006 if only virgins wore the white wedding dress 95% of brides would be in a different color
