I have heard so much about them- do they have a website? We are looking for someone to do our centerpieces because the Milleridge Florist is ridiculously expensive-- we want a simple ring of roses with floating candles in the middle and the price they quoted us was ridiculous so now we have to find a florist nearby-- any info would be great

We ordered our wedding rings tonight. They'll be ready in 10 days. We used the same jeweler we purchased our engagement ring from....he's done business w/my cousin for over a decade so we trust him.

Paul chose a relatively plain band w/detail on the edge - yellow gold. Cost $70. Mine? Well, in order to match my engagement ring, it is a relatively thin white gold w/7 princess cut diamonds across the center. Cost? $550. Sooooooooooo much more than I wanted to spend but within our budget b/c Paul's was simple & inexpensive. Paying cash - no tax.

i found jack&rose very helpful and very suggestive taking my requests and finding a way to make them work...that was important to me...i felt that if i wasn't able to do this they helped me find a way to do something else.....other florists were cut and dry....also they seem to offer pkges on everything, while their quality was superb....give them a try....also their demand is high as it seems, so you must call for an appt at either showroom.

By the way - I noticed you chose Full House for your band - I was also interested in them. If possible could you please forward me any info. you may have or any recommendations for other bands. Thanks!!!

Avoid the hassle and stay away. Anyone know a good favor store?

At my shower, my FSIL gave me lingere. I felt a little awkward - b/c I'll obviously be using it when I'm having sex w/her brother!! Not that they don't know that we are having sex, but its not on the forefront of our dialogue (know what I mean?)

I had to hold it up in front of his mom, his aunts...i was so embarrassed. : (

JACKROSE SOUNDS GOOD. I FOUND THEM IN THE PHONE BOOK. THAT'S A GOOD THING SOME FLORISTS ARE JUST NOT LISTED....MAKES ME WORRY. ARE THEY GOOD. I HEARD THEY ARE. I REALLY DO NOT WANT TO GO WITH VENDORS ON A LIST I HAVE HEARD THESE LISTS CHANGE LIKE-----. DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEAS.

carolyn does jack and rose do weddings? where is your daughter getting married? i'm not sure where i will be booking my wedding but i found that some halls suggest a certain group of vendors. what is your opinion?

Try a place called Money Savers on Flatbush Avenue in Marine Park (between Ave P & Quentin). They have a really good selection and are very helpful.

hi, reception is at the crest hollow and yes they do weddings. crest hollow does have house vendors but i dont think you have to use them. there is something in the contract that says only house flowers to be used on premises$10. credit per table. we have been there a few times for weddings and the flowers were beautiful. i have to call and find out what that statement means. it sure sounds like only their florist for the reception decorations. we will use jack and rose for the church and the girls flowers etc. wedding is at st bernards in levittown

carolyn, my sister got married at crest hollow they did a great job. i sat with her through it all. about the $10 credit, my sister used our own florist and the banq mgr said there was no restriction he had said most people choose there own and if you have no contacts for flowers/pictures/music we have them.

starting to look at photographers. one guy told me to look at the size film/negative that is used. that can make a big difference in the clarity of the pictures. what brings me here is that this guy suggested this florist jack rose. he said that he has seen many problems day of wedding at the house but not with them. any advice? i did not care for cassirino. i thought that they were snotty. what do you think?

I hear you about screeming. I went through all the trouble of having it pressed and getting everything just right. I mean this with all honesty.... I cant wait till we say our vows and its party time! I think after all the preperation, planning, nightmares, stress...etc etc I really am going to need this vacation!

mu husband always uses them when he sends me flowers at work and we have never been disappointed. they are very friendly and i know many people who use them, my daughter isn't getting married till march 2001 so i haven't been to see the florist yet. we are now looking for photographers. she is in va so i am meeting with the photo. and then i will narrow them down and when they come up we will decide. carolyn
